Certified Organic Blood & Bone with Rock Dust - 3kg, from The Green Life Soil Co.

Blood & Bone (with Rock Dust):

NASAA Cert. No. 6327M

This Certified Organic Blood & Bone is a pure product, locally made from quality organic blood and bone and contains no added urea and no fillers. It is great for all plants, including lawns and natives, and provides nitrogen for strong, leafy growth making it one of the fertillisers favoured by organic growers.

Nitrogen is one of the three macronutrients (Phosphorus and Potassium are the other two) and is essential for vigorous growth. Blood & bone also contains phosphorus, used by plants for root development.  Blood and Bone works well when used at the same time as Potash, as it contains Potassium which promotes fruiting and flowering and strong cellular growth. This Blood and Bone formulation also contains Rock Dust which supplies a range of trace elements and beneficial microbes.

Applications:

  • A natural slow release nitrogen fertiliser
  • Can be dug into soil to prepare a new garden bed
  • Can be sprinkled over woody mulches to overcome nitrogen drawdown
  • Food source for beneficial bacteria and fungi
  • Use to green up plants and promote leaf growth
  • Compost Activator
