Urban Composting Options Workshop

This composting workshop at Urban Revolution is applicable to all urban environments.

We are passionate about teaching people how to compost as it is an individual action we can all do to eliminate greenhouse gases created from our food waste by saving it from landfill.

Instead we can easily create that rich and vibrant soil full of diverse life that is the ultimate input for growing your own nutritious food at home, or simply nourishing your own patch of Earth or balcony plants!

Workshop Content:

Learn how to compost using the various options and choose the best composting system for your unique situation at home, for a school or a business.  Ask your site-specific questions.

Learn about the Bokashi system, worm farms, worm towers, how to compost pet waste, hot and cold composting methods and how to run multiple systems together.

Find out why composting is an impactful action that we can all do to put our planet first by reducing our food waste in landfill and instead create nutrient rich soil for a thriving environment.
