Amazing and ingenious bypass cutter for thick woody stems, dead wood, thorny stemmed or skin irritant plants.
The action of squeezing the blades together to complete the cut causes a gripping device to lock onto the stem, holding it firmly in place for release without having to ever touch it and with significantly less effort. Each cut is made in three stages or squeezes with each squeeze locking up the gear an extra notch.
Cuts up to 2.5 diameter stems.
Overall length 20cm.
Note: Not suitable for green wood or stems as the anvil action can damage and crush softer growth.
