Candlelight Farm - Candlelight farm is a permaculture demonstration site in the hills east of Perth, run by West Australian permaculture pioneers Ross and Jenny Mars. Candlelight Farm is committed to teaching how to live sustainably and to design systems for resilience.
Dandelion Permaculture- Offers Permaculture Design Courses, Permaculture Living and RetroSurburbia Workshops – Dandelion Permaculture’s Martina Hoeppner is passionate about these topics and is looking forward to sharing this passion with you. Go to the website to check what courses are coming up.
Drylands Foundation- Located in Geraldton, in the Midwest of Western Australia they demonstrate the practical application of Permaculture and environmental conservation. A not-for-profit environmental organisation the Drylands Foundation is one of WA's most respected permaculture organisation.
Fremantle Permaculture- Fremantle Permaculture is an open community permie group based in Fremantle, Western Australia. Anyone living nearby who would like to get together and learn and become involved in all things permaculture is welcome to attend their monthly meetings. You don’t need to be permaculture trained to join!
Gaia Permaculture - Established in 2011, Gaia Permaculture has become focused on offering regenerative and sustainable design solutions and education and offers a range of services that centre around the ethics and principles of permaculture. Gaia Parmaculture’s Fiona Blackham operates across Perth through private and community consultancy, private enterprise, local government and private workshops offering consultancy and Permaculture Design Courses, plus co-teaching of Cert III, IV and Diploma of Permaculture.
Perth City Farm - founded in 1994 on the site of a former scrap metal yard and battery recycling facility in East Perth, this once toxic and highly polluted site has been lovingly rehabilitated by volunteers over many years to become a thriving organic certified community garden. A Western Australian icon for environmental sustainability and community engagement available as a venue to hire for Weddings and functions as well as home to the City Farm Cafe, this place is a must visit for anyone interested in sustainable living.
Powderbark Permaculture- Powderbark Permaculture offers design services, workshops and advice. They organise events and workshops with, and for, community groups including the Jarrahdale Glut Gleaner and Food Hub.
Fair Harvest - Fair Harvest is a Permaculture farm 5km out of Margaret River in Australia’s beautiful South West corner. The Fair Harvest gardens were established in 1995 and have organic veggie gardens, fruit orchards, poultry, composting systems and more. Permaculture West- Perth's go-to place for all things permaculture, whether it's finding a local permie group to meet like minded souls or downloading fact sheets from well respected contributors, this is the place for you.
Permaculture Educators Alliance - The Permaculture Educators' Alliance wants to take you one step further, away from sustainability and towards regenerative design. They strongly believe that we can heal the world and want to support you on your journey towards leaving a smaller footprint and creating better farms and gardens. Terra Perma- Charles and Jolene Otway have been a driving force in Permaculture in Perth and have recently moved to Pemberton and are continuing their Permaculture journey. Their website contains a wealth of information on Permaculture.

Plastic Free July - Register on the below website to join this fabulous campaign. You will be mentored throughout the month of July and the website has fabulous information on plastic alternatives, recipes and information about plastic and the effects on our environment.

Perth Green Events - Perth Green Events is a fabulous source of information to find environmental, gardening and sustainable living events throughout Perth and the surrounds.
The Source Bulk Foods - you can browse over 400 bulk whole foods, cleaning and personal care products. Pretty much all of the cleaning products we use at home come from the source where we bring our own containers to refill. Our local Vic Park store is located in the Park Centre however there are outlets Australia wide.
Treading My Own Path - Vic Park's very own Lindsay Miles is a writer, speaker and waste-free living advocate, in her blog she shares her journey and what she has learned along the way. There are great resources and e-books available and while you are there sign up for her insightful newsletter.
Who Gives a Crap - If it's good enough for our bums then we reckon its good enough to plug. These guys donate 50% of their profits to help build toilets and improve sanitation in the developing world. Vic Park Boomerang Bags - Boomerang Bags are a world wide community initiative to bring people together to make reusable shopping bags for their community.
EarthWhile Australia- Spending a couple of hours with these guys will give you a whole new perspective on your soil. Offering soil biology reports, onsite consultations and soil microscopy training Ellen and her team are a one stop shop for those wanting to take their understanding of their soil to the next level. From farmers and orchardists to backyard gardeners they provide services relating to soil health.
Inspired by nature- Inspired by Nature has been creating beautiful, individualised gardens in Australia and New Zealand since 2001. Lisa Passmore has incredible knowledge of plants and couples this with her permaculture skills to collaborate with clients to make gardens which are productive, attractive and kind to the surrounding environment.
Green Life Soil Company - Linda and Paul are legends in the Perth garden supplies scene. “Delivering a greener garden" is their company motto. They make their own quality soil mixes and soil improvers to give you excellent results (and a greener garden!) These guys have a great range of products, as well as providing heaps of information about growing well.
Nindethana- This is a highly informative website for people wanting to grow Australian native plants from seed. Based in Western Australia and administered by Greening Australia, these guys boast a truly impressive seed catalogue. Seeds can be bought by the small packet or by the kilogram for serious revegetation projects.

Victoria Park Community Garden Association - The Victoria Park Community Garden is a fenced section of Read Park and comprises of 32 allotments leased by individuals and families, school groups and community groups. In addition to the leased allotments there are approximately 25 fruit trees, some communal growing areas, a worm farm, composting area and an area for making tea and coffee under a giant Moreton Bay Fig. It was established in 2009.
