How to Use your Handmade Beeswax wrap:
The fabric coating ingredients create a flexible wrap that can be used over and over again. Just use the warmth of your hands to mould the wrap over your dish or fresh product.
Care for your Beeswax Food Wrap:
Wash in cold water. A mild soapy solution can be used, rinse and hang up to dry in shade. Fold up and store in a draw or reuse right away. Avoid using the wraps on fresh meat or fish. Citrus or pineapples are too acidic for them.
How not to use your wax wrap:
Do not use over hot containers, in the microwave, oven or dishwasher.
When prepping meals collect veggie and fruit waste in one place or keep prepared veggies fresh during meal preparation.
Recycling your Beeswax Wraps:
Once they come to the end of their life use them for garden ties, fire lighters or compost them.
